1. How do I create an account?
In the upper right of the ZOLL Device Registration page, click on "sign up here to register your devices". Upon completion, you will receive an e-mail with a link to click on to authenticate your account. Then, log-in using the username and password that you created.
2. How do I reset my password?
From the login page, click on "Reset Password". If you are already logged in and wish to change your password, you can navigate to the "Account Profile" page and enter a new password and click save.
3. In the past, I have registered devices through a different website. Do I need to re-register those devices?
If you used our ZOLL
® legacy registration website or the Cardiac Science
® registration system to register your devices, there is no need to re-register them. If you are unsure whether your previous registration(s) were captured, you can email
[email protected].
4. Where can I find my serial number?
Most serial numbers are on the back of the device or in the device’s battery well.
5. What does my serial number start with?
Most product serial numbers begin with one or more alpha characters followed by a series of numbers. For example, a ZOLL AED Plus® serial number may start with "X18"; a ZOLL AED 3® serial number may start with "AX18"; a Powerheart® G5 serial number may start with a “D” or “M” and be followed by zeros. One of the only exceptions to this rule is the serial number for a Powerheart G3, which begins with a number.
6. How can I register my device?
After you have created a Device Registration account and are signed in, you will be directed to "Your Device Registry" page. To add a device, you will need the serial number, purchase date (if known), and installed at location, if different than the default address. Input the information of the device you wish to register and click on the green plus sign to add this to your registry. The device will appear at the bottom of your Device Registry page.
7. Why does the purchase date for a device I registered show as “unknown”?
The purchase date must be entered in MM/DD/YYYY format where MM is month, DD is date and YYYY is year. If a different format is used or if the field is left blank, the purchase date will default to ‘unknown’. Providing a purchase date is optional.
8. How can I modify a device I have already registered?
Find the device you wish to modify in the "Your Devices Registry" and amend the serial number, purchase date, installed at address, or device status. Click the green check mark when completed.
9. Can I register multiple devices at once?
Yes, navigate to the "Bulk Registration" link. Download the template and input the required data for each device. Upload the file and navigate back to "Your Devices Registry" to view your devices.
10. Why is this data being collected?
The data is being collected for device tracking purposes only and may be used to notify you in the event of a tracking audit or important safety notification.
11. Is the data stored in a secure manner?
Yes, please refer to the "Data Security" section of our
privacy policy that can be accessed through the Device Registration website.
12. Who can access my data?
Access to the data is limited to certain ZOLL employees who have a regulatory obligation to track devices.
